Evaluations will be held at Sluggers Academy in Medfield on March 23.

Majors players should arrive 5 minutes before 12pm and check in with registrar David Joe and player agent Andy Taylor. AAA players will check in at 12:30pm. Each evaluation is scheduled to last one hour but pitchers may need to stay until 2 at the latest. Space in the lobby could be a little tight so feel free to drop off and leave once your player is checked in.

Players will do fielding and throwing drills, then hit in the batting cages, and lastly pitch if they would like. They will meet you in the lobby when they are finished.

Sneakers only (no cleats). Shorts are OK. Players should bring their equipment, but we will have extra bats and helmets if necessary. There will be no catching, so leave the catcher's gear at home!

Please assure your children that this is meant to be more like a clinic and less like a tryout. We want them to be loose and have fun. Evaluations are to help us build balanced teams and ensure player safety. 

We intend to have an AA scrimmage/evaluation at a later date when the weather is nice enough to do it on a field. Expect it to be in early April.
