Hi MYB Families,

First off, I'd like to thank everyone for their support in our Super Bowl squares fundraiser. We made $4,000 for the league! While we would love it if everyone's numbers could hit, the real winners are our players. We are planning a fair amount of field updates, among other things, and these funds will directly impact all our players soon. So once again, thank you!

Spring registration deadline is March 1. After that, we have to impose a late fee of $20 because we must prepare our team numbers and order uniforms. Please note that while our age cutoff date is 5/1/2024, there is a process to request your child to move to another league. For now, register for the league available for your child and email [email protected] with your request and we will address it at our next board meeting. The following are the league breakdowns:

-Majors for ages 11 and 12 as of 5/1/2024 ($200)

-AAA for ages 9 and 10 as of 5/1/2024 ($200)

-AA for ages 7 and 8 as of 5/1/2024 ($150)

-Instructional for ages 5 and 6 and children entering Kindergarten next school year ($120)

Evaluations for Spring will be March 23 starting at 12PM for majors and 12:30 for AAA. They will take 1 hour each except for pitchers, who should be done by 2PM. Evaluations help us confirm a player's placement and allow us to build fair teams. We use a spreadsheet that inputs all our data and breaks down the players (without names) into balanced teams. Because of this, we need help with evaluations. We are inviting all AAA and Majors coaches to attend evaluations. There will be a brief Zoom meeting for everyone attending evaluations the week before. There will be a makeup date and evaluations for AA the following week at the MHS gym. We will send out more information on this when we solidify it.

Winter clinics continue until evaluations. We have opened up registrations for 2/24 and 3/16 to all AAA players. Please register at millisybs.org ASAP.

The opening day parade is tentatively scheduled for April 21.
