**Numbers are very low for the 9-12yo summer teams and we're in jeopardy of not being able to field teams **
Please register for summer baseball HERE Ages 7-12U
Registering online is requested for everyone interested in playing summer baseball.
Note: No fees will be requested until later in May when the teams have been determined. If a player is not selected for a team there will be no fee.
About Summer League:
Teams
play in a competitive league vs other surrounding towns. Please see
details below regarding the different leagues we will be participating
in
Age 7/8:
Ashland Sparkler Tournament and Summer Sizzler Tournament (we are planning on two teams for 7 and 8yo's)
Cost: $200
The
Sparkler Tournament is a competitive, 8U baseball tournament hosted by
Ashland. The tournament provides an introduction to tournament play for
8 year old players. Rules are modified for this younger age group.
It’s a fun atmosphere that gives the players a chance to compete against
players from surrounding towns. The tournament runs from late June through July. It is an 8 game schedule (all games are played in Ashland at Gryncel Park);
with seeded playoffs. All teams make the playoffs - single
elimination. The other 8u team will play in the Summer Sizzler
Tournament (See below)

Summer Sizzler Tournament in Hopkinton: Summer Sizzler Tournament
The season consists of at least 10 regular season games and a single elimination playoff. Games played on either weeknights or weekends starting in mid-June and running until third week of July. Specific 2022 summer league details are still being worked out.

Coaching: If you would like to be considered for a coaching position please Volunteer as a coach through the registration system. Coaches will be determined by the MYB board once all tryouts are completed.
