Pitching Rules

  • Player may pitch a maximum of 6 innings per week.
  • One (1) pitch constitutes an inning.
  • If a player pitches 3 innings or less (1 day rest).
  • If a player pitches 3 innings and 1 pitch or more (3 days rest).
  • Pitch 3 innings or less on Monday; player can pitch again on Wednesday of same week.
  • Pitch 3 innings + 1 pitch on Friday; player can pitch again on following Tuesday.

2012 Major League Schedule
  • New pitching week begins on Monday.
  • No games May 25-28 (Memorial Day weekend)
  • No games June 3-10 (Nature’s Classroom)
  • Friday and Sunday are rain/make-up days (except June 1st)
  • Make-up dates will be determined by the Major League Director
