2017 MILLIS SUMMER HOCK BASEBALL TRYOUTS for Youth ages 8-12
*Millis Summer Baseball will be holding tryouts Saturday, May 20th with a makeup date Sunday, May 21st.*

Teams are made up of players age 9 (or younger*), 10, 11 and 12. Eligibility for a summer league will depend on your child's age as of April 30th. Players will tryout with their appropriate age group and not by their grade. Hockomock summer league follows USAAA baseball rules.The Millis Summer Baseball program is competitive baseball with games played as part of the Hockomock Baseball League.
*Players younger than 9 are welcome to tryout. Rosters will be made up of players based on their individual skill level.
When: Saturday, May 20th (makeup 5/21)

Tryout Schedule: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tryout time.
9U: 2:00 PM – Born on or after 5/1/2007 (*8yo's welcome to try out)
10U: 3:00 PM – Born between 5/1/2006 to 4/30/2007
11U and 12U: 4-5:30PM - Born between 5/1/2004 to 4/30/2006

All should plan to attend the Saturday, 5/20 tryout. For those that cannot make Saturday there will be a mixed tryout from 9AM-12PM on Sunday, 5/21.

Please register by Friday, 5/19.
Registration will take place online. Both credit and check options are available. If paying by check please still register through the system prior to tryouts. Paying by credit is the preferred option but for those paying by check please bring payment on day of tryout. Any player who does not make a team will have their full registration fee refunded.
Costs:
$180 – Includes: jerseys, hats, baseballs, umpires, league fees, and maintenance fees
About Summer League Baseball:
Games will be played weeknights starting in late June and running until the end of July. The season consists of 12 regular season games and possible single elimination playoff games. Games are played in Millis and away in surrounding towns (Attleboro, Mansfield, Foxboro, Wrentham, Easton, and others).
The summer season is a commitment and players are expected to be able to be at most games.
Coaching:
If you would like to be considered for a coaching position please Volunteer as a coach through the registration system. Coaches will be determined by the MYB board once all tryouts are completed.
